Parents' tribute to 'dear son'

THIS is the first picture of the teenager killed in a horrific road crash in Cornwall.

Robert Edward Reeves, 19, died after he was in collision with a 44-tonne articulated tanker on the the B3266 at Longstone, St Mabyn, near Wadebridge.

The accident took place shortly before 9.30pm on Monday and involved the lorry and a red Vauxhaul Astra.

The teenager from St Breward, North Cornwall, was taken to Derriford Hosiptal but later died.

His parents Dave and Jan Reeves today paid tribute to their "dear son".

"We would like to thank everybody for their support and sympathy at this very sad time.

"We have lost a very dear son. He was thought a lot of by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

"Rob was only 19 and had everything to live for. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. R.I.P son."
