Phillips turns screw on Liskeard
The Lilywhites made hard work of this game after racing into a two-goal lead. Ollie Brokenshire fired them ahead on 22 minutes, with Chris Phillips scoring with a shot on the turn that flew into the top corner of the goal from 12 yards.
Millbrook pulled a goal back on 38 minutes when Zac Pearse shot low past Garry Penhaligon from eight yards but St Austell should have restored their two-goal advantage on the stroke of half-time. Ben Douglas was brought down by goalkeeper James Gill, who escaped any further punishment, allowing him to make a fine save from Lee Whetter's penalty kick.
To make matters worse for the visitors, the second half was just a minute old when Lewis Vines fired past Penhaligon from ten yards to restore parity. The goal appeared to wake up Andy Dingle's side as it took them just two minutes for Phillips to restore his side's lead with his second goal of the game.
On the hour the visitors completed the scoring as Mike Body picked up a loose ball 30 yards from goal to race clear and round Gill before finding the net.
Perranporth moved up into second place after their 4-3 victory at Lantoom Park over hard-working Dobwalls.
Player-manager Ian Gosling gave Perranporth a first-minute lead which they doubled 19 minutes later when Steve Rowson raced clear to score.
Dobwalls came back with Jeff Dillon heading home but Gosling made the most of poor defending to notch his second of the game, making it 3-1 in the visitors' favour at the break.
The home side were in no mood to lie down, with Jack Bartlett scoring twice in the first 17 minutes of the second half to restore parity. But it was the visitors who grabbed the vital last goal, with Steve Burr racing clear and rolling the ball past Jamie Castle.
Four goals from Tom Patrick were enough to see Mousehole record their first victory of the season as they beat Wendron United 4-0 at Trungle Parc to leave the visitors bottom of the table without a point, or a goal.
Plymstock United moved up to fourth place after Micky Hunt's new club beat Callington Town 1-0 on the manager's return to Ginsters Marshfield Park
Hunt's departure from Callington was not amiable and this defeat will not go down well with the home faithful, who had to watch as the points went back to Plymouth courtesy of Liam Quinn's deflected first-half free-kick.
One goal was also enough to settle Camelford's game against Truro City at Trefrew Park, Lewis Impleton scoring in the 50th minute for the Camels.
Pete MacLean gave Penryn Athletic a tenth-minute lead away to Foxhole Stars, who had Lee Hazeldine sent off before Liam Nicholls earned them a point with an 80th-minute equaliser.
Two goals from Chris Wolstencroft, taking his season's tally to nine, helped Hayle beat Godolphin Atlantic 3-1 at Trevassack Park, where Simon Stevens notched the home side's other goal and Josh Harris replied for Godolphin.
