Bury 0 Exeter 1

Saturday, October 11, 2008, 19:28

High-flying Exeter City claimed their third straight win by upsetting Bury 1-0.

Richard Logan took advantage of an Adam Stansfield flick-on give the Grecians the only goal of the game at the seven-minute mark.

Ryan Harley could have made the win more comfortable for Paul Tisdale's visiting side but fired just wide from a rare second-half Exeter attack.

The victory moves City into seventh in the table with 17 points from 10 games and also hands Bury’s their first defeat of the 2008-09 League Two campaign.
