Yeovil Town 4 Wycombe 0

Saturday, December 26, 2009, 16:58

YEOVIL Town extended their unbeaten run to four games with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over troubled Wycombe Wanderers at Huish Park.

The Glovers treated a bumper Boxing Day crowd of 5,055 to some tantalising football and took a deserved lead after 35 minutes when Kieran Murtagh scored his third of the campaign.

That goal gave Terry Skiverton's side the confidence they needed to dominate the second half en route to the comfortable score line.

J P Kalala got Yeovil's second after 712 minutes after a fine set up by Jonathan Obika.

Obika then stepped up for his sixth League goal of the season when he put Ryan Mason's cross into the net.

Sam Williams rounded out the scoring as impressive Yeovil continued to climb the League One table.
